Monday night’s episode of Farmer Wants A Wife saw a lot of drama unfold on Farmer Dylan’s farm! It all kicked off when Ally, one of his frontrunners, decided to pack her things and leave when she found out he’d kissed Keeley on their solo date.
Ally explained to the cameras that because she’s been cheated on in the past, it’s hard for her to find trust in Dylan, given he still has two other women on the farm.
Additionally, the fact that Keeley was chosen for Dylan by his family had both Ally and Scarlett feeling scared about their potential connection.
“Dylan tells me on our date that he’s got ‘tunnel vision’ when he sees me; as soon as I’m out of sight, he’s kissing someone else,” Ally told the cameras. “Not my style, personally.”
Even Scarlett appeared annoyed, saying, “Dylan doesn’t have to kiss everyone! You’re not forced against gunpoint to kiss another girl. If you’re falling for someone, why would you want to kiss more people?”
It all became too much for Ally, and she decided to leave, telling him he could chase her if he really wanted her.
“At the end of the day, I want to see what he does. If Dylan wants me, then he can come find me and fight for me,” she proclaimed.
Farmer Dylan responds to Ally’s abrupt exit
Speaking to WHO, Dylan joked that things got “Western” on his farm this week, explaining that he was “rattled” by Ally’s shock departure.
He explained that he felt like she was “playing a little kids game” and felt there was a bit of a double standard to her leaving.
“I was all like, ‘Hold on, you’re leaving without a conversation’, and I know a big thing for Ally was communication. And then she kind of doubled back on it.”
“I mean, yeah, I can understand why she left,” he admitted. “But yeah, I think my initial reaction was just more or less just like, ‘Are you kidding me?'”
In the episode, Scarlett told the cameras that she felt Ally had given Dylan an “ultimatum,” making him choose between the girls at the farm and her.
Dylan was also unimpressed by Ally’s ultimatum, telling us, “I didn’t think that was fair on me or the other ladies. Off the bat, I remember going like, no, this isn’t how this is going. I thought it wasn’t the right thing to do, and especially since throughout the whole experience the girls were calling themselves Sister Wives or something, so they always had each others’ back.”
“That was the big thing for me that I kept getting told I had to kind of try and break up this big friendship group, and that didn’t sit well with me, because they were going through the experience together.
“But I think, because of their relationship with each other, I didn’t expect Ally to kind of double back on the girls like that, I thought it was a bit bit average.”
Farmer Dylan’s doubts around Ally were ‘heightened’
Dylan went on to explain that while he and Ally had felt “rock solid” before, doubts started to creep in after she ran away from the farm.
“[The doubts] were probably heightened a lot, I’d say,” he confessed. “I think the big factor that was going through my head was, ‘What have I done wrong? How do I get her back on the farm?’
“But then in the same breath, I’m thinking, ‘Hold on, I’ve got two gorgeous ladies here that have stuck by me, and they haven’t left’, so I think that is what made me a little more doubtful – just knowing that Ally left and gave me an ultimatum, but I’ve also got these two gorgeous ladies here who I do have strong feelings for.”

Farmer Wants A Wife fans were quick to share their thoughts on Ally’s shock exit, with one viewer writing, “Really shocked by Ally, didn’t think she would do that. Doesn’t make any sense.”
“He will propose to her. Because it’s the only way she will stay with him,” wrote a third.
