EXCLUSIVE: Farmer Dylan said he felt ‘rock solid’ after his date with Ally – but one thing stood in the way

The farmer told WHO about the doubts he was having about his ladies.

As Farmer Alex and Eddy chose to run away into the sunset together on Sunday night’s episode of Farmer Wants A Wife, the other farmers were taking their potential ladies to meet the family. Things are getting serious!

While the family visits were certainly wholesome, with the contestants pulling out all the stops to impress their farmers’ loved ones, there was also a solo date on the line, which could change everything for some of the ladies at this stage in the experience.

Before Farmer Dylan introduced Ally, Scarlett, and Keeley to his dad and grandparents, he took fan favourite Ally on a romantic solo date to clear the air about their connection.

“I have real strong feelings for you,” he reassured Ally on their romantic fairy-light-lit barn date. “The connection I have with you, it just feels right.”

Speaking to WHO, Dylan opened up about how “after that date with Ally, [he] felt like [they] were pretty rock solid.”

However, he also admitted that he found the pressure to choose “tricky” throughout the experience, revealing that there was always one factor that stood in his way.

‘I’d go on a date with someone else and it’ll be thrown out the window’

Farmer Dylan has had some – and I quote – “head over boots” connections so far, with Scarlett, Ally, and Keeley remaining on the show as his potential matches. Keeley entered the experience as an intruder chosen by the farmer’s family, while Ally and Scarlett have been on the farm from the start.

Fans have their picks for the farmer, but what they don’t realise is how indecisive Dylan felt throughout the whole experience.

“After that date with Ally, I felt like we were pretty rock solid, but I think looking back, I was almost like that after every date with whatever lady I was with,” Dylan admitted. “It was like I was almost looking through a window at a future together.”

“The date with Ally, I was like, ‘okay, this can really work’, but then I was also thinking the same thing with Scarlett the day before, at the blacksmithing date, so I think I think it makes it tricky.”

He added that this was “the part [he] found the hardest” while on the show.

“As soon as I thought I had a decision made, I’d go on a date with someone else and it’ll be thrown out the window.”

Will Dylan chase after Ally?

At the end of last night’s episode, Ally fleeing the experience was teased for tonight, leaving fans wondering if Dylan will chase after the fan favourite or let her leave the show for good.

“I bet Ally will be BACK!” one fan wrote. “I have a feeling Dylan will chase her, I hope so she’s perfect we all can see it!”

“She shouldn’t have the option to return,” another fan disagreed. “It was her choice to leave. Not fair on the other girls.”

“She’s not for him,” another agreed. “If he does choose her, she’s going to be hard work.”

After knowing what was actually going through the farmer’s head during the show, we’re not so sure we can count on his and Ally’s connection being as strong as fans would like. It seems there were more obstacles to Dylan and Ally’s future than viewers may have noticed, and whether this can withstand her runaway moment, we’ll have to wait and see!
