It’s the show that will have you cackling in one scene and reduced to tears in the next and Gogglebox has just cemented its place on our TV screens after it’s premiere last night.
It received the number one spot across Australian capital cities, based on its 8.40pm timeslot.
Perhaps it was the hilarious antics we all know and love, or maybe the news that newcomers, Jad, Matty and Sarah Marie had replaced veteran’s Vivan and Zina that enticed viewers into gluing their faces to their TVs.
Regardless, according to Channel Ten, the reality TV show, which incorporates people – watching people on TV, peaked with a massive 969,000 viewers.
