There were a lot of hard truths spoken during the first night of Feedback Week on MAFS, with the couples parting ways to sit down and talk about their relationships with other contestants one-on-one. But, it was a moment that fans didn’t see that spoke volumes, and has done the near-impossible: united fans.
While Scott and Stella shared relationship woes, and even David and Bec did their best to straighten out their differences, Danny sat alone waiting at the pub for Gia.
And he waited a while.
Gia eventually arrived, however, she ultimately chose against facing Danny.
“I’m not doing it,” Gia was heard saying at the other side of the door. “You guys can all f–k yourself at this point… I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be Bec or Danny.
“[It’s a] lose lose situation.”

Danny was later told by a producer that his waiting had been for nothing as Gia refused to speak to him due to the bride’s enduring feud with his wife Bec.
The two couples haven’t seen eye-to-eye, despite Danny and Scott trying their best to be “civil” with each other.
Ultimately, Danny confirmed Gia had “done a runner”, finished his beer, and left.
MAFS fans react to ‘gutless’ move by Gia
Gia choosing not to face Danny and speak about her relationship with Scott was branded as “gutless” by many viewers.
Gia has never shied away from speaking her mind, and the chat with Danny would have allowed just that, but fans banded together and came up with a hypothesis of why they think she didn’t do it – she didn’t have any “puppets” at her disposal.

Up until now, fans have noticed Gia often stirs the point and creates drama, but masterfully backs away while others come to blow.
“She doesn’t want to be part of drama, it doesn’t interest her unless she sets up someone else to do it,” one fan said online after the episode dropped.
Another said she was “all talk” and couldn’t “handle any truth”.
“[You] can’t be held accountable if you don’t show your face and hide behind a bathroom door,” another chimed in.
This pattern of behaviour has been seen throughout the experiment, with Gia instigating drama then allowing Juliette, Bec, and formerly Brook, to take centre stage.
Many other fans wished Danny has just given his feedback “direct to the camera”, while others said he “dodged a bullet” by not having to hear her thoughts on his relationship.
