Extending their 15 minutes of fame with a near-nude shoot in the August issue of Maxim Australia, the pair, who were known as troublemakers on the show, have said it is all staged.

“The public think it’s gospel and everything that happens on the show is real … It isn’t real life, it’s TV,” Jess said, according to the Daily Mail.

While Ines added: “I don’t watch reality TV so I never knew much about it, but you may as well be contracted as an actor.”

While the magazine is sure to give their profiles a boost, it comes after it had been claimed that the controversial two are about to land a second show.

Their behaviour on Married At First Sight sparked outrage, but people seem to thrive off the drama, so it comes as no surprise that the producers of Love Island Australia have enlisted the unlikely duo to appear on the upcoming season of the popular Network Nine dating series. According to an insider, Jessika and Ines have been cast to stir the pot and lift the show’s ratings.

The timing seems a little odd considering Jess revealed last week that she’d moved on from fellow co-star Dan Webb with another former MAFS contestant— Nick Furphy

“Nick and I can confirm we have started to see each other,” the outspoken reality star told the Daily Mail. “At the moment it’s very new for both of us.”

“A lot of people are weighing in on this, especially Nick’s best friend, (Telv Williams), however, we are not allowing people’s opinions to hurt this. We are just seeing how it goes. He’s in Melbourne and I’m on the Gold Coast but we Face time every day on the phone.”

Jess’ new relationship follows her high profile split from co-star Dan Webb— she’s since told WHO she “couldn’t care less if Dan drowned tomorrow”.
