Recent MAFS’ bride Selina Chhaur has debuted a major transformation just weeks after the airing of the finale, which showed her brutal breakup with on-screen partner Cody Bromley.
The hairdresser took to Tik Tok and Instagram to show she’d done away with her long balayage locks, swapping them for a shiny brunette look with updated shaping.
Creating a video to show the transformation, she overlayed a sound that said, “it’s really not that bad, it just needs a little shaping – to the salon!” as she played with her old blonde ends,
She then mimed “I love it!” in the next frame, with her hair now updated.
Selina’s MAFS co-stars shared their love for the look – and Selina herself – in the comments.
“Ahh yes queen love it so much,” wrote Ella Ding.
“I LOVE ITTTT,” commented Tamara Djordjevic.
“You look gorgeous as always,” Olivia Frazer added.
“We miss you Sel!!!” added Brent Vitiello.
While some of the cast from season nine have been divided since the show aired, forming tight, bonded groups that rarely overlap, it seems their love and support for Selina is universal.
Selina had a rough run on the show with her partner, Cody Bromley, who ended up breaking up with her the night before the final reunion.
Although they turned up to the dinner the night before hand-in-hand, things shifted in between the two prior to their final catch-up with the experts.
“We – Selina and I decided to call things last night,” Cody told Mel Schilling, John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla.
“Don’t say we,” Selina told him. “It’s new to me too.”
Cody went on to reveal that the affection between them felt ‘forced’.
“I really wanted this to work but I just thought to myself throughout the experiment, yes we had some really amazing times but we also had some shockers so we never quite lost that habit,” he said.
“Last night it got to the point where Selina was [trying to hold my hand] but to me that felt very forced and it was just a realisation that it’s for the best,” he went on.
“She needs someone who can show her [affection] and I can’t.”
Selina revealed that she felt things were good between them, given they were making plans to move in together in the coming months.
“I just feel silly because I thought this was love or heading towards that direction,” she said.
“To me, you don’t ask someone to move in with you if you don’t feel something deep for them,” she admitted.
But with her new hair, Selina looks ready to take on the world!
