It’s the most controversial reality show on Australian TV.
And now, according to a bombshell report, that things are set to explode when two brides go head-to-head in a heated exchange.
According to an onset spy, health fund consultant Cyrell and makeup artist Martha don’t see eye-to-eye and later this season, and the pair ‘come to blows’.
It is understood “an altercation” breaks out between the two dark-haired brides during a Married At First Sight gathering and it turns “physical.”
So physical in fact, that it is alleged Cyrell “grabs Martha by the throat.”
“Things get tense and Martha ends up throwing her drink at Cyrell and then all hell breaks loose,” dishes our spy.
“No one really knows what started it but everyone in the room was shocked. Next minute, Cyrell got up and held Martha by the throat.”
It is understood producers had to step in.
“A member of the crew had to break a vase to stop it all,” adds a source.
News of the row comes after Martha revealed she is often judged by other woman.
“I’m used to women being standoffish and not liking me,” Martha explained.
“They see me, and that can be intimidating. I’m used to being judged really quickly but it’s important for me to maintain and look good.”
An Endemol Shine Australia spokesperson told New Idea: “No form of harassment is tolerated on any of our productions. Our participants’ health and safety is always our first priority.”
