What is Avengers: Doomsday about?
In typical Marvel fashion, the exact plotline of Avengers: Doomsday is still a closely guarded secret, however, we do have a few clues as to what we can expect for the next superhero instalment.
Based on the initial synopsis, the story will follow Doctor Doom and his rise to power as he attempts to dismantle the Avengers, potentially with the help of the Fantastic Four’s antagonist, the Silver Surfer.
With the multiverse well and truly in full swing, the cast list has confirmed that we will be seeing a crossover between the OG Avengers squad, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four, as well as characters from Marvel’s recent blockbusters Shang-Chi, Black Widow, Ant-Man, and Black Panther.
When is Avengers: Doomsday coming out?
Although production is still in its early stages, it has already been confirmed that Avengers: Doomsday will be released in cinemas on May 1, 2026.
