The highest paid actor from Marvel Studios’ Avengers films has been revealed, and it’s none other than Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr.
The actor reportedly made over $106 million (US$75 million) for Avengers: Infinity War.
Downey Jr also made $21 million (US$15 million) for his cameo in Spider-Man: Homecoming – which is made all the more impressive by the fact that he was only on set for three days.

In other words – that’s $7 million (US$5 million) per day of work.
Reportedly, Downey Jr also has a unique arrangement with Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige, where he earns a percentage of box office grosses for each Avengers movie.
The Hollywood Reporter also reports Scarlett Johansson will be making at least $28 million (US$20 million) for her stand-alone Black Widow film, set to be released in 2020.
Australia’s own superhero, Chris Hemsworth, also makes between $21 million and $28 million per film – as does Chris Evans, who plays Captain America.
