My Kitchen Rules has combined Australia’s love of good food and juicy drama ever since 2010.
Whilst we’ve seen some impressive home cooks over the years, here’s where the MKR winners are now.
Season one: Veronica and Shadi

The show’s first ever winners Veronica and Shadi Abraham opened Ave’ Cucina & Coffee Bar in Coorparoo, Queensland but due to their busy schedules (plus raising their four kids Antonia, Elena, Giselle and Julius), they traded in their ownership.
“We found it hard after we had our third to balance the business and family life. Reluctantly, we decided to sell. It was a bittersweet decision,” they told New Idea in 2022.
Whilst Veronica keeps busy working in the school tuck shop, New Idea reported that Shadi had returned to his trade of building and was busy single-handedly renovating the family home.
Season two: Sammy and Bella

Sisters Samantha and Bella Jakubiak were the 2011 winners, but they’ve now moved on to separate ventures in the food industry.
While Sammy is a chef on a super-yacht and at Frank’s Deli in Sydney, Bella has her own catering company.
Season three: Leigh and Jennifer

Dubbed “the princesses”, another pair of sisters won in 2012 but their relationship since the show hasn’t been strong.
Speaking to Woman’s Day shortly after their win, Leigh said, “I’d send her ‘Hello, how are you?’ texts or an email and nothing would come back to me, and it’s really sad.”
She now runs her florist Lilli-Anthus Floral Design in Adelaide as well as a candle business and the Two brothers Events Co.
Jennifer, who has had two sons and split from husband Wayne Ormond, meanwhile has stayed quiet and not posted on social media since 2021. However, she describes herself as ‘Mama Bird’ at Birdies Bangkok restaurant in Thailand.
Season four: Dan and Steph

The 2013 champions, who won again in 2020 on MKR: The Rivals, are still going strong.
Dan and Steph opened their own establishment in their hometown of Hervey Bay, but they have since sold it.
In a life update shared to Instagram in June 2025, the couple announced that “Steph’s been thriving in her role as a Sales & Marketing Agent with Carter Cooper Realty” for nearly two years while “Dan’s been busy as the Canteen Manager at Fraser Coast Anglican College.”
The couple are proud parents to daughter Emmy who was born in April 2015.
Season five: Bree and Jessica

The Adelaide mums and besties took the crown in 2014 but these days, they keep things private.
Speaking to 2Day FM’s Breakfast Show, Bree slammed rumours that they’d ended their friendship describing them as “like ying and yang.”
After the show Bree launched a luxury ketchup line as well as her Food According to Bree catering company that stayed active until around 2021.
Meanwhile Jess launched her own kitchen called Jessy’s Kitchen at Pepper Tree Aldinga, and most recently, it appears she was the children’s chef at Casa Bambini Early Learning.
Season six: Will and Steve

Known as the Gourmet Pommies, former English bankers and Sydney pals Will and Steve saw some big successes in the aftermath of their MKR experience.
The pair appeared on Studio 10, released a cookbook, Home Cook, Aspiring Chef, worked as executive chefs at Butcher & The Farmer restaurant and became ambassadors for RUOK after Will revealed he has suffered with anxiety and depression all his life.
“I think the show was a great stepping stone for the future but in life, lots of doors open, you still have to walk through it and then turn one opportunity into another and another,” Steve told Mamamia in 2019.
These days they’re living separate lives: Will often appears on Sunrise in his own cooking segment and works for food charity Oz Harvest whilst Steve has recently announced his engagement to partner Yasmin.
Season seven: Tasia and Gracia
Finally, a pair who are still working together!
After their win in 2016, the Melbourne sisters launched a sauce, had a pop-up restaurant and were doing food demos and private dinners.
Tasia and Gracia are currently running their Indonesian restaurant Makan in Melbourne’s CBD.
Tasia also married her husband Matteo in 2023 whilst Gracia and her husband are proud parents to Amelia and Alexander.
Season eight: Amy and Tyson

The Queensland sister and brother duo were always destined for great things but have kept things quiet since their 2017 win.
Whilst Amy is based in Sydney, Tyson is in Brisbane working as head chef at The Balfour Kitchen and Bar and married his wife Kennie Merkley in 2022.
Season nine: Alex and Emily
The lovebirds took the 2018 crown and announced their engagement a year after but they’ve been quiet online for a few years.
Alex appears to still be going strong with his Boozy Foodys business in the Byron Bay area.
However, he and Emily haven’t posted together since 2021.
Season 10: Matt and Luke

Newcastle cricket besties Matt and Luke won back in 2019 and their love of food is still strong.
The pair revealed in 2024 that they’re working together for private catering but Matt is also the co-founder and director of Pavilion Finance, a finance brokers in Newcastle.
Season 11: Jake and Elle

The 2020 winners of the MKR: The Rivals season are living a life away from reality TV.
In 2025, Elle married her longtime love Evander ‘Rocky’ Cummins surrounded by family and friends, including her brother.
“Thank you for my beautiful sister’s wedding and plenty of over due family time. I’m so grateful for that time with them especially with my hilarious niece and nephew,” Jake wrote in a social media post at the end of the year.
Jake (who has had quite the physical transformation) is now a fitness, lifestyle and travel content creator whilst mum-of-two Elle is working as a senior manager.
Season 12: Janelle and Monzir

The 2022 winners are more in love than ever.
Not only did they found their business Monzelle that sells recipe e-books and handcrafted spices, but Janelle also is the face of baking business Sassy Sprinkles.
“Happy birthday my queen,” Monzir wrote in 2025 on Instagram. “Thank you for thugging it out with me. You’re the real definition of a ride-or-die babe.”
Season 13: Radha and Prabha
These talented twins used their prize money to create their recipe book Twindian Flavour Cookbook.
“From rich curries to buttery flatbreads, each page brings you closer to the flavours we grew up with — and the ones we’re falling in love with all over again,” their website reads.
The sisters often appear on TV cooking segments and run cooking masterclasses around the country.
Season 14: Simon and Viviana

While many winners go on to start their own businesses, the Italians and best friends took a break after their win.
Simon is the owner of Brisbane food establishments Doughcraft and Scugnizzi but at the end of 2025, Viviana revealed that she made the “reckless yet tender decision” to close her barber business and travel for three months.
However. the pair are still close friends. Viviana wrote on Instagram, “Thank you for keeping me calm and support me in everything we do. Ti voglio bene Fratello mio, life wouldn’t be the same without you.”
Season 15: Justin and Will

The 2025 winners told WHO that going on the reality cooking show was “one of the best things we’ve ever done” but what are they up to now?
Gym owner Justin and former NRL player Will are both busy dads and share their cooking creations on social media but they’re keen to do more TV like MKR judges Colin and Manu’s Off The Grid, cooking their way around South Africa and Tonga, their families’ countries of origin.
