Dyson Heppell is the fourth campmate to be eliminated from the I’m A Celebrity Jungle and it was a stroke of bad luck (and bad memory) that resulted in his demise.
When all the celebrities were handed a card (which would reveal whether they were safe or up for elimination) the former AF player and Gary Sweet both pulled cards with an ‘X’ on it.
After a memory game saw the two “competitive” men battle head-to-head, it was ultimately Dyson who was booted from the show.
He told WHO he was disappointed to leave, but there was another unlikely reason he admitted he was “jealous” of Luke and Mel in The Jungle.

Dyson was definitely exposed to a wide-range of challenges, and even coached his campmates through their own, but he told WHO he wishes he’d faced his greatest fear of all: snake.
“I would have struggled with snakes, but at the same time, I would have loved to have done a snake challenge to try and, you know, buck that fear, but I didn’t get the opportunity to,” he said.
Something he also wishes he could have tried was the trampoline challenge that Luke and Mia participated in – leaving a slight tinge of jealously as he sat at home watching the episode play out.
“I was really jealous of was Mia and Luke’s challenge, where they got to jump off trampolines, hanging out over the dam, and cling on the nets, I was like, that looked unbelievable,” he said.

With the series pre-recorded this year and public voting scrapped, campmates often have to vote for who will be up for elimination.
It’s something that model Rachel Hunter, who was eliminated first this season, told WHO she was concerned about, even warning others to “be careful and align with who you need to align with” after cliques formed.
Dyson acknowledged Rachel’s feelings about the situation, but claims everyone took a “pretty strong stance to try not form alliances”.
“Tensions and emotions certainly got a lot higher, and there was a change in dynamic within camp when we did have to start choosing who was up for eliminations, but yeah, we are having a bit of a laugh watching the show back seeing the reactions,” Dyson said.
Who else has been eliminated from I’m A Celebrity?
Barry Williams was eliminated on February 9, days before Dyson left.
Reality TV star Matt Zukowski was the second campmate to be dumped from The Jungle after previously surviving the first elimination against Rachel Hunter.
However, Deni Hines was officially the first celebrity to leave The Jungle after uttering the famous phrase (and where the show gets it’s namesake).
