If you’re like us and have been glued to your seats watching the wholesome entertainment that is Dancing With The Stars: All Stars, you’ll know one of the most touching elements is watching the friends and families of the celebrity contestants cheering on their loved ones.

But if you’ve been scratching your head as to why Delta Goodrem is hanging out in the audience – despite DWTS airing on rival network Channel Seven – you’ll be pleased to know there’s a good reason why.
Delta has a longstanding close friendship with contestant Renee Bargh, who also recently worked with the Paralyzed songstress on The Voice.
The women have been pals for more than a decade and were even roommates in Los Angeles at one point so it’s not surprise Delta has her friend Renee’s back.
For her part, Renee has always been vocal about her bond with Delta, gushing over the former Neighbours star when they worked together on The Voice (Delta was a coach while Renee co-hosted alongside Darren McMullen).
“My first day on set felt like Christmas. I went to her trailer in the morning and she gave me a great pep talk and a big hug (how I miss hugs!) and supported me from stage by smiling at me and encouraging me while I was doing my reads for the first time,” Renee told New Idea in 2020.
“She’s always been the most supportive friend, so it means so much to get to share this moment together.”
Renee added: “Delta is constantly giving me great advice and she’s been on the show for so long now. So, it’s like her second home. Just watching how comfortable and vibrant she is on set was so inspiring.”
