Euphoria returned to our screens on this month with a third season that has fans divided. After not having these characters on our screens for four years following season two in 2022, fans are noticing a shift.
Gone are the ephemeral, glittering high-school days of Euphoria season one and two.
In season three, the characters are all grown up, dealing with new jobs, new relationships, organised crime (well, that’s not new), and weddings; the latter of which is the plotline for the upcoming episode.
In a sneak-peak released by HBO, all the characters are finally reunited again as they attend the wedding between Nate (Jacob Elordi) and Cassie (Sydney Sweeney), and we’re telling you now… nothing goes right.
What can we expect for Nate and Cassie’s wedding?
So far, two episodes have been released for season three, and let’s just say the characters’ attempts to rise to the challenge of adulthood has seen more lows than highs.
As Maddy (Alexa Demie) gives viewers more background into her not-so-illustrious life in Hollywood, Cassie joins OnlyFans with Maddy’s help (and to Nate’s dismay), causing conflict that is sure to blow things out of proportion before the wedding cake is cut.
It was revealed in last week’s episode that Maddy ‘fake-forgave’ Cassie for dating (and now marrying) her ex, Nate, after what Maddy and him had was “obviously real.”
So, it’s safe to say that Maddy’s decision to “go in for the kill” will very much take place during the not-so-happy couple’s nuptials.
For the other characters, it looks like Rue (Zendaya) and Jules (Hunter Schafer) will continue to make-up and reflect on their relationship – a plotline in episode two that had fans relieved after Jules’ limited presence in the premiere.
While the plotline so far has received backlash for not being the same Euphoria people came to know and love, when it comes to the fashion, we’re hooked.

When are episodes of Euphoria Season 3 released?
Episodes of Euphoria will air on HBO Max every Sunday, meaning you can tune into Cassie and Nate’s wedding this Sunday, April 26.
New episodes will release weekly through to the series finale on Sunday, May 31.
