If you’re anything like the marie claire team, you have watched The Devil Wears Prada too many times to count, definitely have an opinion on Andy’s boyfriend and have mastered an impression of Miranda Priestley’s brilliantly dismissive line: “That’s all”.
But here’s something you might not know about the film: a deleted scene has surfaced on Twitter, thanks to Buzzfeed’s Spencer Althouse, which changes everything.
The scene shows Miranda’s obnoxious husband burst into a conversation at the magazine’s black tie event. Andy swoops in to save the night, and—lo and behold—Miranda mouths “thank you”. In just two words, Miranda’s ice queen facade melts.

Twitter users agreed that the scene casts Miranda’s character—and the entire film—in a whole new light.
