First rising to fame as Pamela Anderson’s dance partner on Dancing with the Stars, Tristan MacManus has continued to take the world of dance and television by storm.
No stranger to reality television competition, the 41-year-old Irish dancer has competed on both the U.S. and Australian Dancing with the Stars before hopping across the pond to the UK classic Strictly Come Dancing. Now, Tristan is hoping to add another reality win to his belt, joining the 2024 season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia.
Away from the world of television, Tristan has been regularly spotted with his wife, Blue Water High star Tahyna Tozzi, and his three children at A-League football matches across Australia, with fans growing more curious about the Studio 10 commentator’s life off-screen.
Is Tristan MacManus married?
Tristan MacManus has been married to Australian actress Tahnya Tozzi since January 2014.
The couple first met in January 2011 through mutual friends in Los Angeles. Speaking to the Irish Independent, Tristan and Tahyna revealed that they both initially didn’t catch on to their friends trying to get them together, however, their romantic connection was instant.
“I was crazy about her. I phoned my mum and told her I had met the girl I was going to marry… Tahyna was obviously very beautiful, but she was so different to any other girl I had come across in LA. There is no pretence about her,” Tristan shared.
With Tristan touring the world as a dancer and Tahyna working as an actress, the pair spent much of their early relationship living between Los Angeles and London, with the occasional trip to visit their families in Ireland and Australia.
Three years later, the couple settled in Tahyna’s hometown of Cronulla, Sydney, and celebrated their wedding in their local Roman Catholic church.
After settling into their new family life in Australia, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Echo Ìsolde on April 5, 2016. A few weeks before Echo’s third birthday, Tristan and Tahyna celebrated the birth of their son, Oisín Lír, on March 14, 2019, with their youngest child, Tadhg Nuada, arriving in May 2021.
