Hardly a day goes by without rumours circulating that there is some kind of feud on Sunrise.
In an attempt to diffuse tension, good-humoured hosts Nat Barr and David Koch poked fun at each other on air as they were wrapping up the show today which you can check out in the video above.
“That’s what I was gonna say, stole my line again, you thief,” Nat told Kochie, laughing.
In a faux serious voice, Kochie turned to the camera and said: “This is what I have to put up with.
“Thankfully, it’s 10 past nine and we have to go.”
With Sam Armytage missing from the show today, the 62-year-old then asked Nat, “Are we seeing you tomorrow?”
“I dunno, I supposed to have the day off but who knows,” Nat said just as Kochie quipped, “Oh, bugger”.
Very quickly, after crossing to The Morning Show host Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies, Kochie realised that people may not have realised he was joking.
“No one go on and say we hate each other ok,” Kochie warned.
Kylie was quick to jump in to ease the situation, cracking her own joke about long-running rumours of tensions between her and Larry.
“No, it’s gorgeous, I feel just at home, I feel right at home,’ she said, laughing and putting her hand on Larry’s shoulder before he jokingly jerked away, shaking off her hand.
