But all three agreed they did the shoot to shine a light on women’s natural beauty and to celebrate it. “I’ve watched other actresses, like Nicole Kidman and Cate Blanchett, do the same,” says NcNamee, who is a mum to Jack, one. “And they’ve always made me feel better about myself because I am pale like them and they are beautiful. So I thought, if I can make someone else feel better [about themselves] than great.”
Giovinazzo, 26, agrees with her co-stars and believes in celebrating people’s natural beauty. And although outside of work she’s not a big makeup wearer herself, everything she does do she learnt from her grandmother.
“She’s all about keeping it basic,” the actress explains. “You know, nails are either painted red or beige and that’s it. You have one perfume that you’ve worn for 20 years and it’s top notch.”
While Nicodemou jokes that she's obsessed with beauty products, the star admits tne thing she can't live without is her eyelash curler. "I've been working in this industry since I was 16 and I've picked up a lot of tips and tricks," she says. "But the best one is to curl your lashes!"
However, when she's home being mum to son Johnas, 4, Nicodemou is always makeup-free. "The minute I get home from work I take my makeup off and tie my hair back. Those days when you're in your PJs or sweatpants, playing with Johnas, they are my kind of days."
