Fans loved Isla's cheeky take on the awards and were quick to congratulate Sacha for his achievements.
"Massive congratulations to your hubby and to beautiful you. Most gorgeous couple," one penned.
"Congratulations!! But man, they're cheaping out on these awards this year. You think they're trying to save money?" another remarked.
"They always look so much heavier in real life, don’t they? Congratulations @sachabaroncohen you talented bastard!" Rove McManus joked.
The TV star even shared his own post congratulating Sacha on his double Golden Globe win by sharing a photo of himself jokingly swigging from a bottle of vodka whilst Sacha's acceptance speech played in the background, Isla looking on proudly.
"Congratulations @sachabaroncohen on your double #GoldenGlobes win," Rove wrote on Instagram.
"Look, I’ll be honest, I may have taken the loss in your first category a little badly and then made a poor decision to drown my sorrows with some solid day drinking," he continued. "When I came to, just imagine my surprise and elation when Tasma told me you picked up the wins in your other two categories (that in hindsight, I should have perhaps waited to see the outcome of first). Well done mate, turns out your actually quite good at all this after all!"
Sacha, who won Best Musical or Comedy and Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, made sure to make his own quips in his acceptance speech.
"Thank you to the all-white Hollywood Foreign Press," he joked, but also made sure to thank his partner in crime.
"Most of all, thank you to my incredibly patient wife, Isla, who has put up with all my madness."
Sacha and Isla reportedly moved to Australia late last year because they didn't want their three children Olive, Elula, and Montgomery growing up in Trump's America.
"They are surprised by the public interest in their move to Sydney, they thought they left the headlines and paparazzi behind in Los Angeles."
