If there’s one thing the Kardashian-Jenners know how to deliver, it’s drama, and season 7 of their hit reality show The Kardashians is bursting at the seams with it.
Released on October 1, the first trailer teases shock after shock that is guaranteed to ensure fans tune in in droves to watch the new season when it premieres on October 23.
From a terrifying threat to law graduate Kim’s life to the surprise reappearance of not one, but two rarely seen family members and feuds galore, we break down all the must-see action.
As Kim teases: “This season is a whole different beast.”
1. Rob’s back!
Having stepped back from the spotlight in recent years to focus on his health and fatherhood, Rob makes a welcome return this season.
And it seems even the 38-year-old’s family are surprised to see him back in the fold.
“Is Bob here?” Khloe, 41, excitedly asks as she heads outside to what appears to be the makings of a family get together.
The camera then pans to the youngest Kardashian sibling’s face confirming that he is, indeed, in attendance. “Oh my God!” Scott Disick declares. Indeed!
2. And Caitlyn is, too!
After reportedly falling out in the wake of Caitlyn’s gender transition in 2015, during which she badmouthed Kris and their marriage, the family largely distanced themselves from Caitlyn, 75.
But with their home on the market and that chapter of their lives coming to a close, it seems Kris extends an olive branch to her ex, if only for their kids Kendall and Kylie.
“I think my mum’s had a hard time inviting my dad to some of our family gatherings, but my dad should be included in things,” Kendall says.
For her part, however, Kris, 69, doesn’t appear quite so sure it’s all going to be such smooth sailing.
“Dear Heavenly Father,” she prays, “give me the patience, because I’m about to lose my s…”
3. Kim’s rubbing shoulders with A-listers
Currently filming her first starring role in Ryan Murphy’s All’s Fair, Kim decides to host a girls’ night at her mum’s house to bond with her co-stars.
Among them are eight-time Oscar nominee Glenn Close, 78, and Emmy winners Sarah Paulson, 50, and Niecy Nash, 55.
“I’m freaking out – freaking out!” Kris declares at having the A-listers in her home.
Glenn, meanwhile, admits, “I’m already drunk, but I need another,” after sampling one of Kris’ famous martinis.
4. And fighting for her life!
Following her 2016 Paris armed robbery ordeal, mum-of-four Kim’s safety has been at the forefront of her mind.
This season, it appears that the 44-year-old’s life is once again under threat as she discovers a hit has been taken out on her!
“I got a call from investigators – someone extremely close to me put a hit out on my life,” she reveals in a voiceover, as she breaks down on screen.
“Everybody’s kind of on edge,” Kendall, 29, admits, and she’s not the only one.
“I heard footsteps walking into my room,” mum-of-two Kylie, 28, reveals during a conversation with her mum and Scott, 42.
5. There’s justice – at last
Eight-and-a-half years after being held at gunpoint by masked intruders, who stole millions of dollars’ worth of jewellery, Kim faced her robbers in court.
Cameras capture the star getting ready to attend court – decked out from head to toe in sparkling jewels, no less!
“Do you really think we should walk in there with all the diamonds on?” Kris questions her daughter.
“I wanna be who I wanna be,” she replies.
6. But what’s wrong with Kourtney?
In a baby bubble since welcoming son Rocky with husband Travis Barker, 49, in November 2023, Kourtney’s content doing her own thing.
Sadly, that often means pushing her once-close sisters away.
“I think Kourtney’s mad at me,” Khloe says.
Setting the scene, she adds: “Kourtney never has anything nice to say these days.”
Cut to Kourtney, 46, passive-aggressively putting Khloe down: “I’ve felt the negativity lately. Are you doom scrolling in bed?”
7. And finally, it’s the end of an era
Gathering the family together, the Kar-Jenners say a final farewell to the home they grew up in.
It’s a nice opportunity to go through photo albums and reminisce about the good old days.
“Kylie and I have so much history in that house,” Kendall reflects.
“We’ve snuck boys in that house and gotten each other out of trouble in that house, and fought in that house.”
“I had sex in a few of these rooms,” Khloe adds for good measure over a classy alfresco family lunch.
“With who?!” Kendall demands to know.
“That’s exciting!” Kylie chimes in over her, to which Khloe responds, “Yeah, thank you, Kylie, just be supportive.”
