The popstar has taken to her Instagram Story to give her fans a very rare look at her natural hair, and it’s as shocking as Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner’s!
Ariana’s hair is really quite short, incredibly thick and extremely curly! It’s a vast difference from her dead straight, butt length hair she is always rocking.
The 26-year-old posed in front of her bathroom mirror with her hair bundled up into a (short) pony, pulling at it to show that it’s still in the process of growing.
“you [sic] hair is insane. when will we see you on stage w it? @ArianaGrande,” one fan asked on Twitter.
Other fans agreed, with one writing, “I LOVE YOUR NATURAL HAIR SO MUCH!! PLS WEAR IT LIKE THAT OFTEN @ArianaGrande.”
“KEEP UR HAIR LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME ISS HELLA CUTE,” wrote another enthusiastic fan.
This isn’t the first time the star has shown off her natural hair without any extensions. In February, she told her fans that she was trying to grow it out after it was damaged from bleaching it peroxide blonde.
“they gotta grow first ! that blonde last year …….. tarnished. BUT they’re like halfway back. :),” she replied to one of her fans on Twitter.
But the peroxide blonde wasn’t the only time her hair was damaged by dyeing. When she was a star on the Nickelodeon show Sam & Cat, her hair was ruined by constantly dyeing it bright red.
“My actual hair is so broken that it looks absolutely ratchet and absurd when I let it down,” Grande said at the time. “As annoying as it is for y’all to look at the same hairstyle all the time, it’s all that works for now (and I’m comfortable for the first time in years).”
