She was known for her stunning brunette tresses on The Bachelor but Bella Varelis has undergone something of a dramatic hair transformation by going blonde.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Locky Gilbert’s runner-up uploaded a cheeky video of herself debuted rocking her lighter locks.
“Been contemplating growing out my natural and going dark again but we went lighter and I’m in love,” Bella, 26, wrote in the caption before crediting hairdresser Frankie Flanagan and her sustainable salon, Adilla Colab.
Bella was known for her dark features during her time on The Bachelor.
Despite choosing Irena Srbinovska when the finale rolled around, the show’s leading man Locky Gilbert was certainly attracted to Bella.
“What makes Bella stand out are those big brown eyes,” he said on the show. “You can start a war with those eyes.”
Well, they do say blondes have more fun!
Aside from going brunette to blonde, Bella also has a brand new tattoo that she unveiled to her fans in December.
Whilst enjoying a Byron Bay getaway with her closest girlfriends for her birthday, the social media influencer revealed that she’d had a tiny butterfly design inked behind her ear – a dedication to her late grandfather who passed away in 2020.
During filming for The Bachelor, psychic Alison Maiden who featured in one episode told Bella that spirits can show themselves as butterflies and the 26-year-old confessed that “ever since he passed they’ve been coming up almost every day.”
“The meaning behind this one goes deep,” she captioned her post. “I love it so much @gabdeer.”
As an Instagram influencer, Bella often shares her health and lifestyle tips with her fans and followers.
The Bachelor runner-up swears by intermittent fasting during the week but admitted via her YouTube channel that she’d been struggling to motivate herself when it came to her health after leaving the mansion.
“After the finale it was really hard for me to get back into a routine as we had basically been filming on and off for the last six months so it was a very hectic experience,” she said.
“I just wanted to get back into being my best self.”
