Kim Kardashian is a bona fide hair chameleon, thanks to the many wigs and hair extensions she regularly wears.

In a video uploaded to her Instagram story, the KKW Beauty founder was pranked by her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, who handed her a jewellery box to open… but people couldn’t help notice Kim’s hair!
“This is a joke,” Kim exclaims, before opening the box… playing with her hair that has some visible signs of distress.
Unfortunately for Kim, who is an arachnaphobic, there was a huge fake spider inside.
Unlike any hairstyle Kim, 39, has rocked, it is definitely the most unrefined… and natural.
Cropped short above her shoulders, and very thin, it’s obvious Kim doesn’t have any hair enhancements in, and is definitely not wearing a wig as her scalp is visible.
It’s not the first time Kim has shown off her natural hair either.
In 2017, Kim posted to her Instagram Story with braided hair that was of similar thickness and length.
Kim’s extensive use of hair extensions are bound to take a toll on her natural hair, which seems clear in this video, and old photos she has posted.
Kim is among most celebrities who use hair extensions and wigs. Recently on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, sister Kourtney Kardashian had a massive bald stop on the crown of her head due to a high pony she wore to a red carpet event.
Kim who noticed the bald patch freaked out and told Kourtney she had to go to the hospital. Shortly after, Kourtney had PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injections to reinvigorate the hair growth.
“Kourtney, you have a really big spot on the top of your head,” Kim pointed out in the episode.“Look down, Kourtney. Oh my god, I’m afraid for your life. Have you seen that?”
“It’s a hole in my head. I swear it’s from my ponytail, it was so tight that I had a bump on my head like this,” Kourtney replied.
