A lot can change in a year, and former Married At First Sight bride Aleks Markovic is visual proof.

The season seven contestant, 28, was famously matched with Ivan Sarakula and for a hot moment, we thought they would go the distance.
However after splitting in February 2020, Aleks now looks like a completely different person after undergoing a sexy new makeover.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Aleks shared three photos of her glammed up self for a wedding sporting a chic bob haircut.
“Piljek Wedding..shortly after this, two nails and a shoe broke trying to catch a bouquet, love that for me,” she joked in the caption.
The post was almost instantly inundated with fire emojis and messages complimenting Aleks on her stunning photos.
“You are looking amazing,” one fan stated.
“Literal perfection,” remarked another.
“Love your new look,” gushed a third.
Showing Ivan what he’s missing one year on from their split, perhaps?
This isn’t the first time Aleks has made jaws drop with her glamorous photos.
To mark her recent birthday, the real estate agent shared a glamorous snap from her celebratory lunch at Sydney’s iconic Quay Restaurant.
Aleks revealed that she and Ivan broke up in February 2020 due to differences in “values, wants, need and lifestyles.”
“My MAFS journey was one that I will never forget. I learnt so much about myself and what I truly want and need for myself and in a partner. I do not doubt that my soulmate is out there somewhere,” she penned on Instagram shortly after the finale aired.
“Our lifestyle was just so different. We were just fighting a lot it was becoming toxic… So he dumped me,” Aleks shared on Instagram shortly after their split.
“I’m ready to settle down and have kids and I just think our lifestyles wouldn’t match up with raising kids together. I need my values to match up with a man. I need them to be similar to me on how they want to raise kids,” she said, adding they’re “much better off as friends”.
Despite calling it quits, Aleks and her MAFS ex-husband are still on good terms and Ivan even shared some flirty photos and videos in honour of Aleks’ 28th birthday.
In a recent Instagram Q&A, Aleks was also asked if she and Ivan would ever reconcile but don’t get your hopes up folks.
“Ivan and I are two completely different people,” the ex reality star replied to the fan.
“We are civil and he will always be someone I respect for giving me his time in the experiment. I wish him all the very best in life forever and always.”
