Manhunt under way after shooting in Sydney suburb

Police are looking for suspects after a young man was shot dead in the inner-Sydney suburb of Forest Lodge on Friday.

The victim, said to be in his late 20s, was shot in what is being reported as a suspected execution near the intersection of Hereford St and Minogue Crescent, The Daily Telegraph report.

A police officer told AAP that a witness confirmed that the victim was ‘staggering down the middle of the street’.

Police are reportedly searching for two people, a man and woman, and have surrounded a house near where the shooting occurred.
