With The Bachelorette Australia 2018 airing tonight, we can’t help but start discussing who we think Ali Oetjen will choose as her winner!
Betting site Sportsbet has already got their frontrunners chosen ahead of the premiere; Charlie Newling ($4.50), Todd King ($.30), Rob Colangelo ($6.50) and Taite Radley ($2.50).
Taite, 28, is no stranger to reality TV shows. The bank manager from Victoria previously appeared on Channel 7 dating series First Dates where he was successfully set up with Dee Nguyen. Known as ‘Dr Phil’ among his group of friends, Taite says he wants a girl who is career driven, close with her family and can make him laugh.
And then there’s Todd! The 26-year-old sales rep rocks up on night one as Ali’s actual knight in shining armour.
“I have been unlucky in love in the past, I’ve definitely had my heartbroken. And now I’m just here on a whim, hoping that it all turns out for the best,” he tells the blonde beauty.
Another favourite is Sydney builder Charlie Newling. The 31-year-old who has previously been engaged believes in love at first sight is well and truly ready to settle down.
“My dream date is the one where I meet my life long partner because I’ll always remember it as the start to something great,” he says.
Another favourite is Robert Colangelo. The 29-year-old plumber from Victoria is ready to find his wife after previously being in a serious relationship with Married At First Sight’s Carly Bowyer.
We also have another frontrunner in wild rose and first kiss recipient Bill Goldsmith.
