They’ve had explosive fights throughout the season, but the drama just keeps on following Bride & Prejudice’s Jess and Seyat.
The now married couple share some of their darker moments.

“At the start [of our relationship] she wanted to date me but I didn’t want a girlfriend, plus I still had feelings for my ex,” Seyat, 19, tells WHO.
“Sometimes a girl would come up to me and I would be flirty still. I would still flirt with girls when we were together.”
While he wasn’t jumping in bed with a third party, Jess, 21, says she was unhappy with her partner’s actions.
“Cheating, for me, isn’t always just sleeping with another person. If you’re telling me one thing and then going off flirting with other girls, then that’s cheating,” says Jess.
Despite Seyat’s roaming eye and flirtatious nature, Jess has found it in her heart to forgive.
“We’re both growing and we’re both young, so of course it’s not going to be perfect. But all that hard stuff we’ve gone through has made us closer. He’s still here and I’m still here. It’s what has made us so sure that we want to be together.”
Their difficult past and their tumultuous experience on the show could be what’s helped the couple prove how much they mean to each other.
“If we didn’t do something like this we probably wouldn’t have grown as much as a couple,” Jess concedes, “And the issues with his mum [Fatima] probably wouldn’t have been out in the open.”
Jess’ relationship with Seyat’s mother, Fatima, has been colourful, particularly after she referred to her son’s partner as a “whore”.
Another issue the pair has been open about is how they navigated towards each other after complicated previous relationships.
“Before I met Jess, I had an ex-girlfriend for about three years … She’s not in my life anymore,” recalls Seyat. “[Jess] had an ex as well, for three or four years,” he adds.
“That’s how we got together because we sort of had the same position. We were in the same boat and made us closer.”
Jess reveals their shared past is what connected them.“It was a similar situation with our previous relationships, they were both really controlling, they both didn’t treat us that well,” adds Jess.
Despite the fact that Jess claims she “couldn’t care less” about her ex partner, Seyat has admitted that he has considered going back to his former lover – even after committing himself to Jess.
“I obviously wanted her back but she cut me off.”
