A routine flight from the Gold Coast to Singapore ended in terror and chaos yesterday, when a man allegedly went on a violent rampage – tussling with passengers and crew, before being restrained.

Scoot Flight TR7 was roughly twenty minutes into its journey when chaos erupted in the cabin. The alleged instigator of the melee was restrained after multiple passengers and crew became involved, with his shirt apparently torn off in the chaos.
In video recorded of the incident, the man can be heard yelling, ‘What, you’re going to kick me off the flight now?’
With the partially clothed man pinned to the ground, the flight was diverted to Sydney, where Federal Police were waiting. The man has not yet been charged with any offense.
According to 7 News, passengers on the flight had seen the man drinking heavily before he boarded in the Gold Coast.
