He has signed up for adventures in the South African bush, joining the gang on Ten’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! but Paul Burrell, 59, once the trusted assistant of Princess Diana, is doubtful a future adventure for him will include attending Meghan and Harry’s wedding.
“I don’t expect an invitation,” he tells WHO. “My involvement in [the princes’] lives is quite a way back in the past”.
Burrell does expect Fergie, Harry’s aunt and princess Beatrice and Eugenie’s mum, to be invited. “In some ways these last years have marked a new era where as Harry and William are maturing”.
The former royal butler believes Meghan is a “perfect match” for the prince, and says Diana would have thought the same.
“I think Diana would have said, ‘Go for it!'”
