And now the TV show could face the axe because of the scene in the video below.
Former Nine employee and editor of website TV Blackbox, Rob McKnight, has shared some shocking insight.
He claims Jessika Power and Daniel Webb sexual conduct on MAFS could ultimately kick the show off our screens.
“I think Channel Nine might be in trouble with this one. To me, the scene was certainly confronting for a PG timeslot and I wouldn’t want my kids watching it.”
“While the couple didn’t actually engage in sex on screen, they were on top of each other in a very sexual way.”
The Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice has a strict outline on what can be aired.
They state that “depictions of and verbal reference to sexual activity must be restrained with mild in impact. It should remain suitable for children to watch with supervision.”
Despite the looming threat of the axe, fans of the show are enthralled by the drama.
