Shakira has taken to Instagram to announce that she will not be able to perform her Germany concert after straining her vocal chords.
In a long letter addressed to her fans in Germany, Shakira wrote that her doctors have “ordered me to go on vocal rest to avoid any greater damage that could keep me from performing.”
The 40-year-old singer went on to tell her 43.7million Instagram followers that she’s “devastated” to have to miss her first show which was scheduled on November 8 in Klon, Germany.
Should her voice be rested the star promised she will continue her world tour, titled, “Shakira – El Dorado World Tour in Paris on November 10.
Rest up, Shakira!
