T-Swizzle’s PR Tree Paine suggested the singer was behind the crash, tweeting ‘When you’re pretty sure your boss broke Instagram’ as users struggled to cope with the outage.
She had previously promoted the new album through Taylor’s live stream in a Tweet saying ‘Taylor is LIVE right now!’.

Meanwhile, Instagram went down on Friday morning in Australia.
On Instagram’s mobile app – users are seeing a “couldn’t refresh feed” message.
On the desktop website, a Facebook logo and a “Sorry, something went wrong” message.

And she received a present from a surprising old friend slash enemy Katy Perry – who also has a new song out.
