If you have always wanted to marry Prince Harry, this may change your mind: according to certain sources, the British royal family are banned from consuming shellfish.
That means no sautéed mussels with an Aperol spritz when in Italy, no oysters and champagne in New York, and definitely no pippis at yum cha. In other words: a life barely worth living.
Those with blue blood coursing through their veins are warned to stay away from shellfish because of the higher-than-usual risk of food poising the seafood represents.
The Sun reports that the royal family are also advised to avoid rare meat and tap water when travelling abroad.
