The 7 Met Gala looks we’re obsessed with (and shopping immediately)

No invite, no problem.

The Met Gala is back, and our favourite celebs have officially reclaimed the steps of NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art for fashion’s biggest night. Naturally, we’ve been glued to the carpet, ranking the best looks (and a few questionable ones).

But with this year’s theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, the glam is so good, it’s honestly hard to find a look we don’t love. So instead of playing favourites, we’re doing what any beauty-obsessed, non-invited people would do: figuring out how to recreate them ourselves.

Just because we didn’t score an invite doesn’t mean we can’t look like we did. Keep scrolling for our fave 2025 Met Gala looks and how to steal them for yourself.

Sabrina Carpenter Met Gala

01

Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina’s serving ‘Velvety Espresso Swagger’ (her makeup artist’s words, but we totally agree) – and it turns out the secret lies in two budget-friendly skincare staples: Pond’s Cold Cream Cleanser and the Fresh Hydration Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin B3 Gel Moisturiser.

Zendaya Met Gala

02

Zendaya

It’s not hard to tell Zendaya had a full glam moment hiding under that hat. She kept things chic (as always) with Charlotte Tilbury, with makeup artist Ernesto Casillas using the new Super Nudes Shapewear Lip Cheat Duo to define her lips, finished off with a swipe of Lip Plumpgasm in Nudegasm Diamonds.

Doja is looking mighty fine, serving full glam in a Pat McGrath Labs beat – featuring the Dramatique Mega Lip Pencil in ‘Garnet Glow’.

Simone Biles Met Gala

04

Simone Biles

Ashley Stewart used Murad’s new Retinal Resculpt Body Treatment on Simone from the neck down (arms, shoulders, back, legs) – basically anywhere her skin would be on show. It instantly hydrated, visibly firmed and left this gorgeous satin finish that looked insane under the lights.

Sydney Sweeney

While celeb hairstylist Glen Oropeza worked his magic up top, makeup artist Melissa Hernandez focused on the glow, prepping Sydney’s skin with heavy-hitters like the Laneige Bouncy & Firm Serum.

Emma Chamberlain

Talk about placement! Emma nailed the high blush trend on the carpet, swiping on Westman Atelier’s Baby Cheeks Blush Stick in Petal for that just-pinched, lifted glow we’re all copying later.

Rihanna

A surprise pregnancy reveal, custom Marc Jacobs couture, and a full beauty moment that screamed Fenty-first, no one does the Met like Rihanna. Her complexion? Seamless in the new Soft’Lit Foundation, with a pop of Cheeks Suede Powder Blush in Lolly Poppy, a swipe of Gloss Bomb, and lashes dialled all the way up with Hella Thicc Volumising Mascara.
