President Barack Obama has paid tribute to wife Michelle Obama with a sweet Tweet.
Obama, 55, took to Twitter to honour the First Lady on her special day.
“To the girl from the South Side who took on a role she didn’t ask for and made it her own: Happy Birthday, Michelle. I love you,” he wrote.
The President accompanied the tribute with a photo of the couple in a golf cart following their first inaugural ball in Washington, D.C., on January 20, 2009. Michelle waving at the camera and POTUS posing with the piece sign.
The birthday tribute comes just days after Michelle celebrated her husband’s presidency on Instagram with a family photo including their daughters, Mahalia, 18, and Sasha, 15.
