Reality TV favourites Steph and Gian Ottavio are officially parents!
The couple, best known for their record-breaking win on The Block in 2023, have announced the arrival of their first child, a daughter named Ilaria.
The pair shared the news via Instagram, revealing Ilaria’s name with the sweet caption, “you have changed our lives forever”.
The two were married in 2022 before competing on The Block where they won and made history with a profit of $1.75 million.
Since then, they’ve launched their home-wares label, Japandi Estate, which aims to provide fans with an opportunity to buy into the trademark clean aesthetic the couple become known for on the series.
They’ve also embraced new renovation projects.
The couple previously revealed they were expecting with a heartfelt video montage of a glowing Steph alongside Gian, and their dog as they celebrated the milestone. “The start of our little family, when two become three,” they said. “We can’t wait to meet you our beautiful baby Ottavio.”
In subsequent posts, Steph and Gian revealed the gender and due-date of the baby. In a charming DIY reveal, the duo were blind-folded and dipped their hands into paint to leave pink hand-prints.
At the time, Steph reflected on the change to come saying, “We always say we move at 100 miles an hour…that’s going to be exciting just to be still for a bit.”
