Kim Cattrall is officially married — and she did it in the most effortlessly elegant, very-Kim way possible.
The Sex and the City icon, 69, wed longtime partner Russell Thomas, 55, on Dec. 4 at Chelsea Old Town Hall in London. Surrounded by only 12 guests, the elegant ceremony was small, stylish and deeply personal — exactly the kind of love story Cattrall’s fans adore her for.

In photos exclusively obtained by PEOPLE, Cattrall stepped out for her London “I do’s” in a sleek white Dior suit styled by her longtime fashion confidante Patricia Field, the woman behind some of Sex and the City’s most iconic looks.
Kim’s chic bridal look (with a subtle SATC nod)
With classic Cornelia James gloves and a bespoke Philip Treacy hat, the bride delivered a modern, quietly glamorous take on wedding style that felt effortlessly her.
Thomas complemented her beautifully in a custom Richard James suit, giving the couple a perfectly polished, understated elegance.
And yes, SATC fans instantly noticed the fashion déjà vu. Kim’s crisp, tailored suit is already being compared to Carrie Bradshaw’s City Hall ensemble, which she picked up at a vintage shop for her low-key nuptials to Mr Big.
“So Sex and the City vibe,” one fan commented. Another added, “It’s like a copy and paste of Carrie’s courthouse wedding and dress.”
It’s a sweet full-circle fashion moment for longtime fans… and Patricia Field’s styling brings the nostalgia home.

A love story years in the making
Cattrall and Thomas first met in 2016 when she appeared on the BBC’s Woman’s Hour. After following each other on X (formerly Twitter), Russell slid into her DMs — something Kim once jokingly called “very modern” when recalling how their romance began.
The pair stayed in touch, and he eventually flew to Vancouver to visit her — a bold move that paid off instantly. “We got along great,” Kim previously shared. “And we’ve been together ever since.”
Over the years, the couple has kept their relationship mostly out of the spotlight, choosing privacy over spectacle. But when Kim speaks about him, it’s always with affection — calling him a “firecracker,” “easy on the eyes,” and someone who lives life entirely on his own terms.
“He’s had an incredibly interesting life and really done it on his terms,” she said of her now-husband in a June interview with The Times. “He’s a bit of a rebel, which I love.”
