Like much of Australia, The Bachelorette’s Angie Kent has seen a very different side to former suitors Ciarran Stott and Timm Hanly in Paradise.
WATCH: Angie Kent says Timm Hanly was her ‘soul mate’
The Bachelor in Paradise boys have courted controversy for their questionable actions on the island, mainly to do with disrespecting women and blaming it on the “Bro code”.
And suffice to say, Angie isn’t impressed.
After previously posting an Instagram Story slamming all the Bachelorette men from her season, describing some of them as “excellent pretend daters” and “manipulators,” Angie has narrowed the scope of her firing line.
Responding to a meme mocking Ciarran that was posted on fan account Bachie Funny, Angie wrote, “Sorry Straya! If I knew sooner I would’ve sent him and his hype man home second episode when I sent old mate politician home, because NO ONE f**ks with my sisterhood.”
BIP star Kiki Morris also chimed in, writing “hahaha” while Abbie Chatfield expressed her approval by commenting with praise hand emojis.
To refresh your memory, the “politician” Angie is referring to is Noosa’s Jess Glasgow, who was booted for making sleazy comments about the Gogglebox star and her body.
While Angie didn’t mention Ciarran and Timm by name, it’s clear she was referencing the men, who came under fire thanks to how they reacted when Matt Whyatt, who was also on Angie’s season, took Renee Barrett on a date.
Ciarran was livid since he previously dated Renee (who he coincidentally cheated on) and insisted the “Bro Code” meant that Matt should have asked his “permission” to approach Renee – a sentiment that was backed up by Timm.
The actions outraged viewers, who accused Ciarran of double standards as he embarked on flings with numerous women including Kiki Morris, Jess Brody and Abbie Chatfield while in Paradise.
During The Bachelorette, Angie had strong feelings for both Ciarran and Timm. Ciarran left the show prematurely after the death of his grandmother while Timm went on to become runner-up to Carlin Sterritt.
Bachelor in Paradise continues Wednesday 7.30pm on Channel Ten.
