Anastacia’s hit song I’m Outta Love shot her to worldwide fame in 2000, with her popularity continuing to rise with the global success of songs Left Outside Alone and Sick and Tired.
Now, she’s back in the spotlight in Australia thanks to a well-founded rumour that she’s the Vampire on The Masked Singer Australia.

After facing breast cancer twice and taking time to focus on her health, Anastacia, now 53, is back on our minds thanks to the Australian reality TV juggernaut.
So, what has Anastacia been up to in the last few years?
While she recovered from her second battle with breast cancer in 2014, Anastacia still remained a prominent figure in the music industry.
In June 2017, she supported Lionel Richie in some of the UK dates of his All the Hits Tour, later releasing a single, Caught In The Middle. She released her seventh studio album in September, 2017, titled Evolution.
From December 2019 to January 2020 she played the Killer Queen in the Dutch run of the We Will Rock You musical – a fact that would later serve as a clue on The Masked Singer.
And just last month she was seen looking incredible on the red carpet at multiple events at the 2021 Venice Film Festival.
If Anastacia ends up being the Vampire on Masked Singer, it wouldn’t be the first time the star appeared on reality TV.
In August 2016, Anastacia became a contestant on Season 14 of the British television dance contest Strictly Come Dancing.
She also made a special one-off appearance on the Italian version of Dancing With The Stars in 2019. Despite a mildly awkward wardrobe malfunction, the judges praised Anastacia for her special performance.
A natural-born performer with a killer voice, we think we might be seeing Anastacia’s face very soon on Australian TV.
