Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise’s hero-turned-villain Ciarran Stott is apparently quite partial to an Island-based reality show as he is reported to be appearing on this year’s Love Island UK.

That’s right, according to So Dramatic! Ciarran, 27, has been cast for the upcoming season of the popular partner-swapping reality show, Love Island, which starts filming in June.
Originally from Manchester, it makes sense the TV bad boy is appearing on the UK version of the franchise.
Ciarran originally hit our screens on Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette back in 2019.
The social media influencer captured hearts around the nation as he bid Angie a tearful goodbye after the death of his grandmother forced him to withdraw from the competition.
While, at the time, fans lamented the loss of one of their favourites, the reality hero quickly became a villain as he re-entered our screens on Bachelor in Paradise and fellow Bachie star Renee Barrett revealed that the real reason Ciarran ditched Angie was to be with her.
After that, along with some other questionable behaviour on BIP, Ciarran’s reality reputation was more than tarnished.
Speaking to the Daily Mail in February this year, the 27-year-old confessed he is still receiving backlash from his TV stint.
“I still cop it today.” Ciarran told the publication. “I used to get it all the time.”
He continued: “Anything I do gets trolled straight away whether it be cutting or dyeing my hair… because of the show people think I’m some sort of misogynist who doesn’t appreciate women.”
If the reaction to Ciarran’s inclusion on Love Island is anything to go by, public opinion has not much changed.
“Hopefully the women there put him in his place!!!!” one fan commented on So Dramatic’s! Instagram post.
Though, some apparently are all for Ciarran’s controversial antics, another penning, “I hope he’s just himself it’s far more entertaining 😜”.
And others are just excited for all the drama to unfold, a third commenting, “ahhhhh it’s going to be so trashy & right my alley”.
