If there’s one thing the Kardashian family are known for, it’s that they stick together. Sure, they have their fair share of arguments like any other siblings, but over the years fans have watched them put aside their differences for the sake of their businesses, their kids and their family.
However, it’s been clear since day one that the five daughters of Kris Jenner aren’t always close to one another. Throughout the many seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and now The Kardashians, fans have watched the sister’s relationship with each other change – sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse.
Whilst sisters like Khloe and Kylie have always been as thick as thieves, the same can’t be said for Kourtney and Kim. The two have had a tumultuous relationship in the public eye and if season four of The Kardashians is anything to go by, it’s clear the pair are still not on the same page.

Are Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian friends?
Kim and Kourtney’s relationship hasn’t always been smooth sailing. If you’ve watched any of their reality shows you have probably come across one of the pair’s many arguments.
During the 2015 season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the pair clashed over scheduling for a family photo shoot after Kourtney prioritised spending time with her children.
After telling Kim she was leaving at 4 pm, regardless of if they had finished getting their content, Kim told her: “Get the f**k out of here, and go! No one wants you in the shoot.”
“Maybe if you had a business that you were passionate about then you would know what it takes to run a f**king business, but you don’t. So don’t even act like you know what I’m talking about. … She’s the least exciting to look at.”
Was Kim and Kourtney’s fight real?
Kim and Kourtney’s clashing beliefs over work ethic remained frosty for numerous years, with the pair butting heads again in 2020.
During the season 18 premiere, the sisters got into a physical fight after Kourtney overheard Kim telling Kendall about Kylie skipping fashion week in Paris, implying that she and Khloe would never pass on a job opportunity.
“Change the narrative in your mind,” Kourtney told Kim. “I work my f**king ass off.”
The usual bickering between the two then turned into a fully-fledged fight when Kourtney dug her nails into Kim’s arm.
“I swear to God I’ll punch you in your face,” Kim told her sister, who replied, “So do it.”
The on-screen altercation saw Kim slap her sister as they tussled.

Why are Kim and Kourtney fighting?
Although it seemed as if the pair had finally put aside their differences in recent years, it looks like Kim and Kourtney’s relationship is once again under a significant amount of strain.
Fans first suspected the tense relationship during the airing of Kourtney’s wedding special and in season three of The Kardashians all but confirmed the latest feud.
“My sister used my wedding as a business opportunity,” Kourtney explained.
Why did Kourtney think Kim used her Wedding?
Kourtney and Travis Barker got married in Italy back in May 2022. The lavish wedding was heavily influenced by Dolce & Gabbana, with Kourtney’s wedding dress and the whole family dressed in archival looks from the brand.
The following September, Kim was officially named the face of Dolce & Gabbana and it’s safe to say Kourtney was not thrilled.
Season three saw Kendall tell Kim that Kourtney was “livid” by the situation, adding that Kourtney “felt like her wedding vibes were, like, stripped from her.”
“I’m really confused at how this narrative came into her head,” Kim explained. “Like, I couldn’t have been more mindful. I said, ‘Don’t do anything that Kourtney wore to her wedding.’”
But it’s clear Kourtney has an entirely different view on the situation.
“People think it’s a misunderstanding,” Kortney told Khloe. “It’s not. It’s who she is to her core.”
And whilst the season may now be in the past, Kim admitted on the Today show that it was tricky re-watching the season.
“You film it, we think we’re good, and we make up, then you edit it, and I’m seeing all the things she’s saying behind my back and she’s seeing all the things I’m saying behind her back, and the tension rises all over again,” she explained.
“It gets really tricky, and it gets really emotional. But at the end of the day, we still love sharing our life.”
Although the 2022 drama only hit our screens in season three of The Kardashians in May 2023, fans were hopeful the sisters had since moved past the drama.
However, season four of The Kardashians revealed the sister’s feud hasn’t cooled in the slightest.
Kourtney Kardashian’s friends have come to the reality star’s defence after her sister Kim accused those closest to her of “complaining” about Kourt’s distant behaviour. In a new scene aired on the family’s series The Kardashians, Kim’s attack on Kourt was brutal.
The 42-year-old took aim at Kourtney’s choice to spend time with her husband and children, and then threw the mum-to-be’s friends “under the bus” by claiming they were part of a private “Not Kourtney” message thread where they vented their frustrations about Mrs Travis Barker, 44.
“You’re a different person. We all talk about it,” the SKIMS founder said to her older sister over the phone.
“All of your friends call us complaining, whether you think they’re the ones going to you, they’re all coming to us on the side,” she continued. “We’re all confused, and we’re on a group chat that’s actually labelled ‘Not Kourtney’.”
The internet immediately blew up, and Kourt’s best friends, Simon Huck, his husband Phil Riportella and Allie Rizzo Sartiano, were forced to defend themselves. “Kim threw us all under the bus when there was not one actual friend on the chat,” Huck wrote in texts posted by Kourt.
So, who are the culprits? “I believe it was just my sisters from the surveys I’ve been taking,” Kourt replied to fans.
Is Kourtney and Kim’s Feud Over?
Despite the drama between Kim and Kourtney still playing out on TV screens, it appears their relationship may be thawing slightly as Kourtney prepares to bring her baby boy into the world.
Kourtney took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to her sister as Kim celebrated her 43rd birthday.
“Happy happy birthday to my first sister @kimkardashian!” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. “Thank you for all those years of bossing you around and you actually listening to all my crazy ideas.”
“People think the fights they’ve seen on tv are bad…if only they got to witness the hair pulling, nail digging ones from early high school. The joys of sisterhood,” Kourtney continued.
“I love you deeply forever and always. May God bless this year with love and happiness and abundant joy.”
Does Travis Barker have a crush on Kim Kardashian?
Many fans believed the later years of Kim and Kourtney’s feud had been fuelled by Kourtney’s husband Travis. Why? Because back in 2016 the Blink 182 drummer revealed in his memoir that he thought Kim was “hot” when they first met in 2006.
However, the musician has been quick to squash the rumours, telling the Los Angeles Times that the speculation is “ridiculous.”
“It’s like, ‘Kourtney’s fans are worried about Travis. He’s a womanizer,'” Travis explained in the October interview. “Stop it. I obviously shared all that stuff because I wanted to move past it. It was therapeutic for me. That’s her sister. She knows we used to talk. Nothing bad was going on.”
“You give people a little information and they think they’ve solved the mystery of ‘this is why they’re fighting.'” he added. “It’s just so ridiculous.”
