Co-parenting with an ex isn’t always the easiest thing to do, but Miranda Kerr has opened up about how she and ex-husband Orlando Bloom work together to support their son Flynn – and it seems their relationship is refreshingly amicable.
Orlando, who recently welcomed a baby girl with fiancée Katy Perry, is also father to nine-year-old Flynn, while Miranda herself has another two sons with Snapchat CEO husband Evan Spiegel.

Now the model turned beauty entrepreneur has revealed how she and Orlando put their differences aside following their divorce, for the sake of their son.
Speaking to Nova FM’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny on Monday morning, Miranda was asked about she and Orlando make their co-parenting relationship work, along with their new partners Katy and Evan.
“When Orlando and I first separated our priority was always Flynn and making sure that, you know, Flynn was happy and his needs were always at the forefront, and so we were very amicable from the beginning,” Miranda told the radio hosts.

And she revealed her first thoughts when her ex told her he had found love again.
“When he met Katy I was just so happy that he was happy, and when I met Evan, we both are just like, we all get along really well, we are literally like a modern family,” she revealed.
“I adore them and I just feel so lucky that we both have found partners that we are like very happy with and that we appreciate each other so much, of our little family unit.”

Miranda went on to explain that maintaining a grudge or holding any negativity doesn’t serve anyone.
“It’s too much of a waste of energy in my opinion, to be honest,” she said.
“Life is too short, it’s important to forgive each other and appreciate each other and appreciate the positive things in people. That’s the way I look at it.”

Miranda, 37, now lives full time in Los Angeles with her family, the same city as Katy and Orlando.
She has previously revealed that she and Evan decided not to have sex before they tied the knot back in 2017, despite the fact that she had already been married and had a child with Orlando.
Before the pair were married, Miranda was asked if she would try to have another baby, telling the UK Times: “Not yet. Not until after we get married. My partner is very traditional,” later adding, “We can’t … I mean we’re just … waiting.”
