All hail Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new TV doppelgängers!
Following on from last year’s Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance TV biopic, Lifetime has cast new actors to play the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for the sequel, Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal.
Meghan will be played by Tiffany Marie Smith, an actress and host who has appeared on Supernatural and Jane the Virgin. Harry will be portrayed by Charlie Field, who has appeared in Genius and Poldark.
While its clear fans can’t wait for the second instalment of the royal saga, the reaction to the new cast members has been mixed – Charlie Field, we’re looking at you!
Last year’s movie starred Parisa Fitz-Henley and Murray Fraser as Harry and Meghan, showing the couple from the moment they met up until just before their wedding.
The sequel will follow the story from lovebirds first year of marriage, “pulling back the curtain to reveal the untold joys and challenges of life inside the Royal Family. Beyond blending their families and cultures, Harry and Meghan’s core values are put to the test as they try to find the balance between honouring Royal tradition and staying true to their beliefs.”
We can’t wait!
