Grab your blue balloons, Emily Seebohm has given birth to a beautiful baby boy! The Olympian has welcomed her first child with Married At First Sight Australia star Ryan Gallagher.

The couple revealed the news in a lowkey Facebook post, shared to Ryan’s page on September 13.

The news was first reported by our sister site New Idea, with comments from friends and family revealing that Emily and Ryan had named their baby boy Sampson.

“We didn’t want [a name that was] super crazy. We wanted something that was going to be unique,” Emily previously hinted to Courier Mail, before giving birth to her son.

“The last 10 days have been the best of my life to date, Sampson Ryan Seebohm has changed our lives and we bloody love him he’s perfect,” he captioned the picture.

Emily kept her own Instagram announcement short and sweet, sharing a simple black and white photo of her sons hand wrapped around her finger with the caption: “He’s here 💙”

They later announced the news of their engagement in March 2023, telling Woman’s Day that it was a “really special” moment.

“It definitely had a Ryan flair to it and it’s something I’ll cherish forever,” she told the publication.
