NEED TO KNOW
- Farmer Dylan picked Ally over Scarlett, ending a love triangle between the three.
- The reunion episode revealed Ally and Dylan to still be together, with Ally planning to move to South Australia for the farmer.
- The couple has since revealed to publications that they’re no longer together.
Farmer Dylan had some impressively strong connections with his girls, but he ultimately decided on Ally — ending his love triangle with Scarlett.
Their romance was a whirlwind from the beginning, with everything from blindfolded chocolate tasting, meeting the grandparents, and one spectacular exit and return.
However, we want to know, are they still together after all the cameras turned off and the show wrapped last year?
Let’s see, shall we?
Dylan and Ally were still together during the reunion
When Ally first entered the reunion, it looked like the pair were very unhappy with each other, sitting quite far apart on the couch — so much so that host Natalie Gruzlewski commented on how negative their “body language” was.
However, this was a false alarm, as the young couple said that they were still “head over boots” for each other, with Ally revealing that she plans to move to South Australia to be with Dylan on the farm.
The pair shared a clear connection from the start, but since the reunion episode wrapped, we want to know if the couple really took the leap!

Dylan and Ally broke up not long after the reunion
Sadly, despite appearing very much loved-up and happy together at the reunion, Dylan has now confirmed to Woman’s Day that the young couple are no longer together.
The farmer also admitted to Chattr that he “didn’t handle it too well”.
“I didn’t really communicate the best I should have,” he told the publication. “But yeah, I essentially just called it. She wanted to try and make it work, but I felt cruel [staying in the relationship] because I wasn’t willing to compromise.”
However, unlike Alex and Eddy — who at the reunion confirmed that they only lasted about a month after leaving the show — Dylan and Ally got a lot further, so much so that Ally was ready to move interstate.
In the end, Dylan made the “difficult” decision to break up with Ally as he felt he was making her chase a “dream that wasn’t hers”.
“When filming finished and we were back into normal life, I spent a lot of time thinking about what the next few years would look like and I had to be honest with myself,” Dylan told Woman’s Day. “I wasn’t willing to compromise on the goals and dreams that I’m chasing. And I couldn’t ask Ally to compromise on the future that she wanted.
“I didn’t think that was fair. Ally deserves someone who’s ready to build the sort of future she wants. Our lives were headed in different directions.”
Ally and Dylan are still friends
Ally agreed with this sentiment, confirming that there are no hard feelings between the pair and that they’re still quite close friends.
Speaking to WHO, Scarlett (the other frontrunner from Farmer Dylan’s farm) confirmed that she’s also still close with the pair, confirming just how little bad blood there is.
“Dylan’s kindness, humour and generosity didn’t disappear when our romantic relationship ended,” Ally told Woman’s Day. “Sometimes the strongest connections are ones that evolve into friendship rather than end completely.”
