Farmer Wants A Wife star Farmer Jason was left reeling on Monday night when a second lady unexpectedly packed her bags, just days after another failed to even show up at his property.
While Jessica enjoyed a romantic one-on-one date with Jason on Sunday night, the mood quickly shifted during the Farm Farewell when Jason chose not to eliminate anyone.
“It’s been really hard, but I’ve decided I’m not going to send anyone home today,” Jason told the group, with an upset Jessica sarcastically saying, “Thank you, Jason, wow!”
Jason said that he expected Jessica to be relieved by it, but “it was quite the opposite”, and she was frustrated that no one went home.
Taking matters into her own hands, Jessica decided to leave, joking, “Sorry… I just needed my vape and my wine!”
The unseen drama behind Jessica’s shock exit
Speaking to WHO, Jason confessed he was completely blindsided by her reaction. “It sort of scared me a bit. I wasn’t expecting that reaction and I thought everyone might have been happy, I guess.”
However, viewers didn’t get the full story. Jason revealed the tense confrontation was “edited down a fair bit” and took much longer to unfold than what made it to air.

“She said quite a few other things besides that,” he hinted, refusing to share exactly what words had been exchanged.
Despite the dramatic exit, there are no hard feelings. While Jessica promised they would “talk later” as she left, Jason confirmed they did eventually catch up, noting that he made an effort to check in on “most of the girls” after they left the farm.
Farmer Jason reveals his ‘panic’ and ‘self-doubt’
Losing two women so early in the piece took a heavy emotional toll on the farmer, who told us that he started experiencing a lot of “self-doubt” when Jessie and Jessica both left.
“I could understand, because obviously it’s not a natural situation to be in a house basically competing for someone,” Jason explained. “But I was getting worried because I had two girls leave, and it wasn’t supposed to happen.”

“I had a bit of self-doubt coming in there, like, ‘Oh, have I done something wrong?’ I was worried how many other girls are going to start leaving as well, so it was a bit scary.”
Beyond the immediate shock on the farm, Jason admitted he panicked over how the public would judge him.
“I was in a bit of a panic there at one stage,” he recalled, labeling the ordeal the hardest part of his entire television experience. “I wasn’t expecting that to happen.”
