Kanye West has apologised on Piers Morgan’s show, Uncensored, for comments he recently made on Twitter.

Kanye recently tweeted “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE”, which then lead him to be suspended from Twitter.

In clips of the explosive interview, Piers asks Kanye multiple times if he regrets the comments.

“Do you now regret saying ‘death con 3 on Jewish people’… Are you sorry you said that?”, Morgan said.

“That is as racist as anything you say you’ve been through, and any pain you’ve experienced, it’s the same thing, racism is racism, and you know that I think, don’t you?”.

Kanye is seen grinning through Piers’s questions and accused Piers of being a “Karen”, also asking Piers how much he is worth, to which Piers responds, “Not as much as you, unfortunately”.

After two hours of questioning Kanye apologised for making the comments.

“It’s wrong to hold an apology hostage and I gotta let go of that and free myself of the trauma,” West said

“I will say I’m sorry for the people I hurt with the ‘death con’, with the confusion, I feel like I caused hurt and confusion and I am sorry for the families of the people who had nothing to do with the trauma that I had been through.

“And that I used my platform where you say, I hurt people, and I was hurt.”

Kanye also added that it is “wrong to hold an apology hostage” and that he has “gotta let go of that” and free himself from the trauma.

“And say I’m just going to give it all up to God right now and say to those families that I have hurt, I just want to give you a big hug. I say I am sorry for hurting you in my comments.

“I want to word it, and not in a political way but in a presidential way, which is what I knew a president to be when I was growing up.”

Piers then said, “I think someone like you with all your energy and creativity and your passion, you are going to say stuff, the way you talk constantly and in such an extraordinary manner, you are going to stay stuff and you are going to trip up and say things the wrong way.”

“I don’t think there is anything wrong in when you do that, in doing what you did, and say ‘sorry, I crossed a line, I apologise’.”
