Lauren Mand is determined to show her Instagram followers that she and her boyfriend Jimmy Bartel are still going strong!

Taking to the social media platform over the weekend, the Melbourne born socialite shared a few snaps of the former AFL star enjoying an evening at the driving range, while his ex-wife Nadia Bartel simultaneously posted videos of their two sons.
After keeping their romance under wraps for some time, Lauren publicly declared her love for the retired athlete in December 2019 while celebrating his 35th birthday. Although the never-before-seen photo of the loved up couple shocked fans, it’s the over the top caption that caught most people’s attention.
“Happy Birthday JB, I love you,” she wrote, marking the first time she’d spoken about her feelings for the dad-of-two.
Weeks earlier, she revealed she and Jimmy had enjoyed a secret and overly private getaway in Yarrawonga, Victoria, posting a grainy photo showing him smiling while standing in the water with his arms crossed. It was accompanied by a caption that read: “Take me back to swimming with you.”
As Lauren continues to flaunt their controversial relationship, fashion blogger Nadia shared a series of cryptic yet telling quotes about their acrimonious breakup, subtly hinting she mistakenly listened to her heart over her gut— hence why she remained committed to Jimmy amid rumours he was discretely dating Lauren for months.
“Always trust your gut. Your brain can be fooled and your heart is a f**king idiot. Your gut can’t lie,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time the mother-of-two has hinted their split was far from amicable. Earlier this week, Nadia made it clear she’s happiest when she is with her son’s Aston and Henley, and away from the footy player.
Jimmy announced his split from his wife— who he married at the Bellarine Peninsula in 2014— on August 15, 2019. Speaking about the breakdown of their marriage in September, he admitted the state of their relationship was in tethers.

Nadia has since moved out of their home and into her parents’ house. According to The Sunday Telegraph, the mother-of-two will not be changing her name back to Nadia Coppolino in the wake of their separation.
