Melissa McCarthy and the Cast of Ghostbusters Really Loved Working with Chris Hemsworth

The cast of the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot have revealed what Chris Hemsworth is really like to work with on set.

This new cast is primarily female with Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon at the helm. Chris Hemsworth plays the gang’s secretary in a comedic turn that saw the actor swap his super-hero cape for some geeky-looking glasses.

The cast recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote the new movie. 

Ellen begins, “Chris Hemsworth is easy on the eyes….”

The audience and the girls all let out an ‘oooh’ as a picture of the 32-year-old star of Thor flashes up on screen. 

“It’s too much!” says Melissa McCarthy.

Kristen Wiig gets particularly excited asking, “Is he here?”

Melissa McCarthy also reveals that Chris is not just easy on the eyes, but also, “…a smart and lovely, guy! He’s so nice and he’s so funny.”

The original Ghostbusters movie came out in 1984, and two of the original cast will make a cameo appearance. Both Bill Murray and Sigourney Weaver feature in the new flick which hits Australian screens on July 14.
