The bride, who starred in the series’ most recent season with on-screen husband Duncan, revealed to The Daily Telegraph that she had “coincidentally” lost her job of seven years following her portrayal on the show.

Alyssa has coyly hinted towards merch with the quote “I have a child,” a sentence she repeatedly used throughout her time on the show.

Fans spotted a coffee mug with the phrase on it in a video uploaded to her baking Tik Tok account.

She also revealed to the publication that she has had multiple Instagram post requests denied by MAFS Producers, who won’t allow the cast to regain access until after the series has finished airing in the UK.

“They’re protecting the show and the narrative they’ve created, rather than letting me have my own voice.”

She also admitted to The Daily Telegraph that although Channel 9 provide the cast with onsite psychologists she believes they could have “done better about mitigating bullying.”

Alyssa said she now sees her therapist of 20 years up to three times a week due to the bullying and harassment she has received.

“It’s unreal, some of the messages people send to me on my personal phone number and business accounts. You can chat about your opinion of me in this highly edited show in person and on social media, but if you find my number, and write up the most vile message I’ve ever seen and hit send, that’s intent to hurt. It’s not on.”

Alyssa and Duncan had one of the most dramatic relationships on MAFS this season, with their fairy-tale romance quickly turning sour. The pair struggled throughout much of the season before Duncan made the heart-breaking and blind-siding decision to end their relationship during their final vows ceremony
