The Instant Restaurants on My Kitchen Rules have almost come to an end, with the leaderboard filing the teams into place.

As is natural at this stage in the competition, the teams are starting to sweat, especially those who are in jeopardy of being eliminated.

Since the scores are based on judges Colin and Manu plus the other guest contestants, many fans have predicted that teams tend to vote strategically lower to give themselves the best chance at staying high on the leaderboard.

After Tiffany and Giancarlo’s Italian feast, fans accused the ‘Classy Bogans’ Alisha and Deanne of exactly that.

However, the best friends defended their scoring strategy to WHO, revealing why they never judged contestants for anything other than the food.

Fans divided over accusations of Alisha and Deanne’s unfair scoring

There were a lot of chaotic moments at Tiffany and Giancarlo’s dinner table. From claims that the $100,000 isn’t “life-changing” to a rabbit bone found in Deanne’s pasta, it was hard to keep up with the drama.

Despite Deanne being creeped out by the unexpected rabbit bone in her main meal, Colin revealed that he wasn’t fazed by the it, quickly defusing the drama.

In the end, Tiffany and Giancarlo received some top scores, earning them a total score of 86 and placing them at the top of the leaderboard.

However, after seeing Alisha and Deanne score the Italian lovebirds a six out of ten for their Instant Restaurant, while the other contestants gave them an eight or nine, fans have accused them of purposely giving “a ridiculously low score” out of either spite or to better their chances in the competition.

“The two ‘classy bogans’ I’m thinking are the real villains,” one fan wrote. “They talk about it being home cooking, but a bone dropped their score to a six.

“Everyone, including the judges gave an eight or nine, even with the failed dessert. These girls are grasping at plastic plates to stay in.”

“A 6???? A …. 6????? Those girls have dropped waaaaaay down to B—-ville for me,” another fan agreed.

Although, there were fans that defended Alisha and Deanne.

“They got a bone, and their dessert was a disaster!” one viewer pointed out.

“They did get the bone in their mains and their donuts looked exactly what they said lol [a crumpet].”

Alisha and Deanne say they never scored based on ‘personality’

Despite what fans may think, Alisha and Deanne declared that they never scored the other contestants on anything other than the food.

Although they did admit that personality came into play, just once.

“Me and Dee said the whole time that we were basing our judging on the food,” Alisha told WHO. “There might have been one time throughout the competition that maybe there was a little bit of personality thrown in at one stage.

“But when it came to food, the food spoke for itself. And we were not there to put someone down because we didn’t get off to the right start.”
